Good morning from the Little Farm!
This morning the hens were clucking to be let out, so I woke up with them at 7:15, scurried outside and opened the coop before they could wake any of the neighbors. After they quieted down, I promptly went and got back in bed for a bit more sleep.
During my mid-morning nap, one of them (let’s face it – we all know it was Georgina Henrietta) laid an egg. Add that to the half dozen in the fridge, and that means we get to have Sunday morning (er, afternoon…) home-grown omelets.
