Succulents for days

Spring has sprung, a new raised bed has been planted, and the seedlings are all in the garden. And meanwhile, I’ve been obsessing over succulents and succulent propagation.

A few weeks ago, my parents generously lobbed off some stems from their healthy succulents. We had a bumpy 7-hour ride home, so the stems were a little worse for the wear, but still mostly in tact. I stuck them in some dry soil, and a few weeks later, they’ve already rooted.

Some of the leaves had fallen off on the drive, and I randomly scattered them in the pots of soil. Lo and behold, we’re going to have a lot of succulent babies around our house soon.
