Kitchen: Before & After

A room is complete.

It’s still hard to believe, even though we finished it almost three month ago. We jumped straight from finishing the kitchens into starting the bathrooms (boy, is that a whole other ball of wax), and I’m just now getting to post our bathroom grand finale. I would be lying if I said we didn’t have plenty of help with this project… Friends, family, even a professional here and there. But it’s finally done, from top to bottom (minus the back splash I want to tile in on the coffee bar — but that’s a low priority item these days; shower tile comes first). 🙂

You may remember this view from the kitchen update I posted a few months ago:

The above is looking in the same direction (the air vent is just about the only thing in the same place). The door is no more, and we added the coffee bar along the wall. The wall on the left is now a peninsula/bar, with the stove in about the same place.

It’s been quite a journey, but it’s a relief to finally have a space done! Hopefully there will be some bathroom updates before too long!

What do you think of our finished project?
